Why are they so addictive?

Any addiction is created in your mind. This means that your brain is the one that you can blame when you are addicted to something.
One aliment that it is highly addictive is the refined sugar. All the aliments enumerated above contain wide amounts of sugar. At your brain level it activated the pleasure sensors.

This is one of the reasons why you hear people who might suffer of mild depression episodes saying that they feel better after they eat chocolate or ice-cream. However, not only sweet foods contain sugar. Also bread, ketchup, mayo and other things contain sugar so those foods will taste that good.
Another thing that creates addictions is fat. Bacon, cheese, fried meat and all kinds of sauces and oils are filled with fats that have the same effect on your brain. Once you give to your brain too much of these types of foods it will crave for more. Who will not? This is the reason why we become addicted to food and giving up on them is the hardest task possible. It is like rewarding your body every day. Who does not like rewards?

Conclusion

It will be proper to be rewarded after accomplishing certain tasks so it will not become a custom and ruin the genuine effect of it. In conclusion, you should eat such foods only occasionally so you will still enjoy the moment. These foods will not appease your hunger.
