Misconceptions about Yoga
Some people believe that not everyone can practice Yoga due to the flexibility needed during the Yoga exercises. This is completely wrong. Anyone can practice Yoga no matter the gender, stature or age. You should not expect from yourself to make those bending exercises as you have probably have seen on TV or all over the internet. Like in any other sport, you must take it step by step. In many situations, people who had no experience obtained in very short periods better results than others who were aware of what Yoga is and what it can do for them.
Other people also think that Yoga could be practiced by people who have certain religious beliefs. They consider that whoever practices Yoga must be Buddhist or something similar with that. This is a perfect nonsense. Yoga has nothing to do with religion. As I already said anyone can practice it no matter to which God they might be praying at.
