Today many people complain that they are tired and some of them are asking for medical help in this regard. Normal fatigue is transient, bearable, explicable in the context of life and activities, does not lead to psychological symptoms, and rest allows complete recovery.
For approximately 2% of the adult population, exhaustion becomes persistent and significantly affects its existence. That is chronic fatigue syndrome. Chronic fatigue syndrome linked with differences in gut bacteria, some studies reveal.
When not sufficiently explained by physical or mental health problems (diagnosed and not just assumed), one can talk about a syndrome (a group of symptoms) that has been called:
- asthenic neurosis
- nervous and physical exhaustion
- chronic fatigue syndrome
It is more common for those with a stressful life and a very demanding work regime.
Causes of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
For many of those who suffer from chronic fatigue, in their childhood and adolescence there have been periods in which parents have cultivated the belief that they can do anything with excellent results.
It’s just that whatever it is about what parents wanted, not the kids. In principle, praise and rewards are a good thing, at least compared to hardness and abuse. However, if this behavior is excessive, the child becomes very interested in these assessments over time and the parental line follows predominantly. He can not find out who he is, what he wants to do and what he does not.
So the young adult gets low self-esteem, lots of fantasies about success and performance, and last but not least a poor ability to get to know and understand.
Problems arise inevitably, as people around them do not perceive it this way, and with the passage of time it becomes very obvious that we can not all become wealthy and famous. Their existential plan begins to shake, and frustrations accumulate beyond the capacity to manage them healthily.
Their first thought is that they have not tried enough and because they are ‘programmed’ to believe that success is inevitable, they rarely think of failure or change of goals or plans.
