life line screening reviews

Early detection of diseases is an essential step to cure the respective conditions. In cancer, for example, an early diagnosis could be a life savior.

Life Line Screening does that precisely. More specifically, this company screens people to early detect potential health risks.

More about Life Line Screening

Life Line Screening has been present in the health field since 1993 when it was established from Florida to Midwest. A study conducted in 1998 by the University of South Florida confirmed that the screening methods used by Life Line Screening are in line with the quality required by clinical labs.

Just 4 years later, in 2002, a Cleveland Clinic study also confirmed the efficiency of Life Line Screening’s methods to early diagnose diseases.

Preventive health screenings help people understand their risk for developing chronic conditions before symptoms are present, enabling them and their doctors to take action to potentially prevent disease,” the official site of Life Line Screening reads.

Life Line Screening services

According to the official site of the organization, Life Line Screening can offer lots of benefits that derive from the early detection of diseases.

That’s what Life Line Screening provides:

  • early diagnosis of severe conditions
  • prevention of condition progression
  • money saving as Life Line Screening’s tests are more affordable
  • no insurance needed

The screenings this organization performs dedicate to heart disease detection, liver, kidney, diabetes, cancer, and bone and joint tests

Life Line Screening offers more than 15 preventive screening options, providing comprehensive health screening services for anyone age 50+. This selection of ultrasound, blood, and EKG analysis enables people to understand more fully what risk factors they have for cardiovascular disease, stroke, cancer, osteoporosis and more,” Life Line Screening site reads.

Life Line Screening prices

The official site of Life Line Screening doesn’t disclose the prices for the screening. However, according to some customer reviews, a basic screening at Life Line Screening ranges between $100 and $150.

We can’t estimate the accuracy of these prices, so it could even go higher for more complex screenings.

The only problem is, nonetheless, that the insurance might not cover the tests performed by Life Line Screening.

Life Line Screening customer reviews

There are hundreds of customers reviews over the Internet. We have also posted a Life Line Screening review a couple of months ago,

Some clients complained about the poor customer care support and the inaccuracy of the screenings. On the other hand, there are also dozens of positive reviews.

On different review sites, Life Line Screening is rated between 1.5 stars out of 5 and 4.5 stars out of five. This discrepancy is huge, suggesting that many of the positive customer reviews are biased.

So, we needed to head to one trustworthy source. That is BBB (Better Business Bureau). On BBB, Life Line Screening obtained an A+ rate, which is a sign that the company itself is reliable.

But that has nothing to do with the quality of the methods that they use. Taking a look at customers review on BBB, we find that Life Line Screening indeed has some problems at the customer care department level.

Other people complained that Life Line Screening keeps charging their credit cards and no screening was made. Here’s what one client said:

“I feel completely scammed by these people. They have been taking money off my credit card for a year and I have never had one screening or appt. I have been trying for 3 days to contact them with no return call and supposedly their Gold members are important. This is a scam. Do NOT have anything to do with these people. I feel like such a fool that I got sucked like this!

We cannot estimate the efficiency of the Life Line Screening methods, but judging on the customer reviews that we found, we can say that the main issues revolve around other things than the tests.

Apparently, the main problems at Life Line Screening are related to the company’s customer care department and recurrent payments issues.

On the other hand, Life Line Screening boasts an A+ rating on BBB and 3.75 stars out of also on BBB. And that’s not bad at all, as it suggests that the company is reliable.

The decision is yours, but keep in mind that screening can be made in hospitals and other clinical institutions that are all over the place and can be even more affordable than Life Line Screening, or at least these tests could be covered by insurance.
