Hair washing is one of the much debated topics about capillary adornment care, especially because of countless tips from either the media or our acquaintances. Almost everyone has a firm opinion about proper hair washing. However, most people fail to defend their opinions. Is skipping out on shampoo healthy?

We also need to understand that it is very important to have a clean hair, which has both aesthetic and practical benefits. We’ll look better, we’ll smell better, and at the same time we’ll get rid of itchy or greasy hair.

The hair care products we use have an extremely important role in maintaining the healthy capillary undercoat and with a pleasant aesthetic appearance.

About Shampoo

Most people have very high claims from the shampoos they use.

In choosing them you have to pay attention to the type of hair you have and the result you want. Then consider the general condition of the hair after a few applications (it is electrifying, is tangled, dry, fat, tern, without brightening, stiff, the skin of the head is irritated?)

Shampoos contain hair and scalp cleansers and can be found in various forms:

  • liquid
  • transparent
  • opaque (pearls)

The role of shampoo is not just to clean, but also to provide extra benefits for hair. It must make it soft to touch, supple, shiny, easy to coat, resist, give volume, and many more.

Also, some shampoo formulas fight against greasy, dry hair, dandruff, or seborrhoeic dermatitis.

Cosmetic shampoos aim at hair care and offering an aesthetic plus, depending on the needs of the hair. They will give them volume, lightness, vitality, suppleness, and help them get rid of problems such as excessive sebum or excessive drying.

Dermatological shampoos have a higher concentration of active substances and usually have a special regimen similar to that of drugs.

And what with is the shampoo going hand-to-hand? The answer is…

Hair conditioner

The hair conditioner is a kind of ‘permanent personal assistant’ of hair. Practically, it helps the hair to stay in the best shape, giving it all the things it needs, such as keeping or improving health, easily dismounting during combing, etc.

It may be said that the ‘permanent care’ of the balm is the closure of the cuticles and the repair of their affected portions. The conditioner begins to work during the rinsing process when the constituent ingredients are activated. Most hair conditioners have a ‘network’ of ingredients that are held together by a creamy gel.

When we start rinsing, this gel is removed and all the substances present in the conditioner become free to act and store on the hair in the places where the thread has been damaged over time. In this way, the hair is always ‘in shape’.

To remember!

Any woman or even men who has a hair longer than seven centimeters must have a hair conditioner in her/his personal care kit. Also, anyone with dry, thin, or greasy hair needs it.

Is skipping out on shampoo healthy?

Definitely not!

Skipping out on shampoo will make your hair look dirty, greasy, and could even make your hair to fall more than usually.

Besides, shampoo is designed to also help maintain the health of the scalp, thus skipping out on shampoo will not always affect your hair but also you scalp skin which may develop dandruff, or seborrhoeic dermatitis.

Usually, a daily use of shampoo is recommended for having a gorgeous and healthy hair, and also for a healthy scalp skin.

On the other hand, usage of hair conditioner is directly recommended to be done on a clean hair, and using hair conditioner is the best thing to do if your hair is dry, thin, or greasy.
