Every disease that exists comes with its own set of specific symptoms that will make themselves felt sooner or later. Many diseases’ symptoms are similar or even the same, therefore only when the whole set of a disease’s specific symptoms is checked by a patient, then that patient can be diagnoses with that specific disease. Here are 4 symptoms you should never ignore and which can be caused by very serious illnesses or infections.
Unexplained fever can be a symptom of cancer. Equally well could be a sign of pneumonia or other infectious diseases.
Most forms of cancer cause fever at some point, including leukemia and lymphoma. Usually, fever occurs after the cancer has spread from the initially affected organ and invades other parts of the body.
When combined with weight loss (which occurs without a clear reason), it requires a consultation with the physician doctor, as soon as possible. If a person loses more than 10% of the body weight in a short period of time (a few weeks), they should consult their physician to find out the cause. On the basis of the information obtained, the doctor will decide what the necessary investigations will be.
Also, if, in addition to weight loss, fever is combined with chronic fatigue, flu-like symptoms (not passing away), difficulty in breathing (long-lasting), tingling voice, and pain in the arms or shoulders, then this combination of symptoms can be caused by throat cancer, lung cancer, lymphoma, or leukemia.
If undue fever is combined with symptoms such as stomach pains and burns, besides the other symptoms presented above, then it can be caused by colon cancer or gastric cancer.
The common denominator in all these forms of cancer is fever, so do not ignore a feverish condition that occurs suddenly and does not pass away after administering the usual medication used to combat fever.
Strong teeth pain
Although most people accuse dental sensitivity when eating ice cream or drinking cold drinks, if you notice your teeth are more sensitive than usual, you should go straight to the dentist.
Strong teeth pain may indicate serious teeth problems, which are consequences of untreated teeth cavities.
Moreover, if you ignore this problem, you might wake up with a nerve infection because bacteria will continue to multiply and spread.
A simple dental seal can solve the problem if the nerve has not already been infected, while a dental infection requires complicated surgery and additional costs.
If not treated in time, a very serious dental infection can spread away, and can cause, in rare cases though, sepcticemia which can be lethal.
